Best Verified GLP-1 & Peptide Clinics in Houston, TX (2026)

Every clinic on this list passed PostDose's four-point verification standard: a named prescriber confirmed in the federal NPI registry, legal medication sourcing, a real address, and a public rating of 4.5 or higher.

Search “best GLP-1 clinic near me” in Houston and most of what comes back is a paid ad, a listicle written by nobody who checked a license, or a med spa’s own SEO page ranking itself. None of that tells you whether the person writing your prescription is real, or whether the “semaglutide” in the syringe is the FDA-approved drug or an unregulated compound. That’s the gap this list is built to close.

We swept 80 GLP-1 and peptide clinics across the Houston metro and excluded 41 of them outright — most for describing a “GLP-1 program” without naming a prescriber we could verify, or for building their weight-loss menu around compounded semaglutide or research-grade peptides with no sourcing disclosure. The four clinics below are the ones that pass our four-point standard today: a named prescriber active in the federal NPI registry, transparent medication sourcing, a real address, and a public rating of 4.5 stars or higher. Every listing links through to the primary sources — the clinic’s own site and the NPI registry — so you can check our work. (A Katy clinic held a spot on this list from August through mid-September, until a re-check turned up a disqualifying research-peptide program — see our Katy-specific page for what happened.)

Houston

Houston Weight Loss Center (Heights / Webster–League City) is the clearest pass in the audit. It’s physician-owned and run by John Bergeron, MD, whose NPI registration we confirmed active at the practice’s own address, and its site names its GLP-1s by brand — Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound — rather than describing a generic “weight-loss injection.” 5.0★ across 127 reviews.

Lifelong Weight Loss — Dr. Rupal Mathur, MD (Greenway / Weslayan) is an internal-medicine practice Dr. Mathur runs personally; we re-confirmed her NPI registration active at the Weslayan Street address. Her own semaglutide and tirzepatide program pages name Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro, and Zepbound by brand. 4.7★ across 48 reviews.

Bellaire

Hormonal Well-Being Women’s Health Clinic (Bissonnet) is an OB/GYN-led practice — Jill Hutton, MD, MPH — offering physician-supervised weight loss alongside bioidentical hormone therapy and menopause care. No compounded-GLP-1 or research-peptide red flags turned up in our review, and the record is spotless: 5.0★ across 35 reviews.

Spring

Tru Luxe MedSpa and Wellness (Louetta Rd) is owned by nurse practitioner Paulette Senegal, whose NPI registration we confirmed active at the clinic’s own address. Its weight-loss page names Zepbound and Mounjaro as the FDA-approved brands behind its tirzepatide program, alongside hormone replacement and IV therapy. 5.0★ across 49 reviews.

How to use this list

A high rating and a real address are necessary, not sufficient. Before you book, ask the clinic directly which specific drug you’ll be prescribed — Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, or a compounded formulation — and get the prescriber’s name so you can check it yourself in the NPI registry. If a clinic won’t answer either question plainly, that’s the same red flag that got 41 other Houston-area clinics excluded from this list. For the regulatory background on why sourcing matters right now, see our guide on brand-name vs. compounded GLP-1s.
